Resonate Artist of the Week: CXLVMBIA
This weeks Resonate Artist are a duo from Glenrothes, Fife called CXLVMBIA.
CXLVMBIA kicked off 2020 supporting Beta Waves in the Mash House and had set themselves up for a big year of gigs alongside many other artists. They started crafting and honing their songwriting throughout lockdown and started laying fondations to follow up their 2019 foot-stomping synth pop EP, XV.
Me & You, produced by Mark Morrow, is the follow up single to last year’s EP XV and aims to encapsulate the various styles of the EP, while also presenting a fresh side to the band in a direct response to XV's lead track Broken.
Me & You features impactful drums layered on pulsing, warm bass accompanied with soft ambient synths and floating harmosised vocals
