Pippa Murphy (Composer / Hen Hoose)
Pippa Murphy is an award-winning composer and sound designer known for combining orchestras, singers and instrumentalists with ambient soundscapes, electronic music and creating bespoke sound palettes.
She works with writers, film-makers and choreographers as well as Folk, Jazz and Classical musicians. She has recorded sounds from around the world including China, Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Sumatra, Vietnam, Cambodia, Botswana, India, Canada and the Scottish Isles.
Pippa was classically trained on piano, violin and percussion from an early age and completed her BMus, MA and PhD in instrumental and electroacoustic composition at The University of Birmingham.

The old protest saying is “the personal is political”; that was certainly the case for MALKA, the project of former 6 Day Riot leader Tamara Schlesinger, when she released the politically-charged album Ratatatat in 2017 in the wake of referendums and the election of Donald Trump. At the core of MALKA is honest song writing. Whether that is day-glo, clattering brilliance or a pared-down hymnal for bedtime, Schlesinger always remains true to herself.
In 2020, Tamara founded all female - nonbinary songwriting collective Hen Hoose.
Litening (Songwriter / Producer)
Litening is a London based Producer, Songwriter, Singer and multi-instrumentalist who is known for her emotionally-driven music.
At a very young age she would sing in Church and this is where her talent first started to be recognised.
Alongside a music career she was tipped to go onto become a world class athletics professional for Team GB, before a life changing injury brought her back to her first love of music.
Her songwriting & production talent has seen her in high demand, writing with the likes of Ne-Yo, Benny Benassi, Mark Knight, John Summit, Jake Isaac, Mistajam, PBH & Jack, Faustix, PS1, Eats Everything, Joshua Luke Smith, 99 Souls, Talia Mar, Tiggy Hawke, Madison Mars, Riton, Papa Zeus, Bhaskar, and many more.
With two number 1s in the coveted Music Week Upfront Club Chart under her belt, Litening’s songwriting/production has seen her with major BBC Radio1 and Kiss FM support as well as millions of Spotify streams.
