Resonate Artist Of The Week: Bobby Kakouris

We’re pleased to unveil another Resonate Artist Of The Week and now is the turn of Glasgow based singer-songwriter Bobby Kakouris. Bobby’s latest track dropped last night and ‘Anything’ is a beautiful moving minimalist piece with twangy guitars and hosts Bobby’s characteristic unique wavering vocals transitioning through octaves with ease. There’s an undoubtable delicacy to Bobby’s musicianship that’s prominent throughout all their music.

‘Anything’ is an assured follow up the alternative pop swing track ‘Mum’ and the full bodied harmony bursting track ‘Giving’. Bobby’s reputation has gained some rather lovely momentum in recent months performing at Glasgow’s newest multi-venue festival The Great Western Festival. Additional notable performances include supporting Cara Rose, Dream Wife and Withered Hand.
