RESONATE X PLAYGROUND FESTIVAL

Incase you missed it, this year we’re super proud to be teaming up with Glasgow’s newest festival - Playground Festival. The hot new event which is set to take place at South of the city Rouken Glen Park on August 2nd, 3rd and 4th is welcoming a huge lineup which includes Groove Armada, Maribou State, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Hot Chip, Django Django and so many more.

With the support of music storage platform disco.ac, we’ve opened up a unique opportunity for one artist to open the main stage for on Saturday 3rd August. Saturdays’ announced line-up includes the Mercury and BRIT nominated Anna Calvi whose 2018 album ‘Hunter’ garnered a stunning 5 Star review from The Guardian. Craig Charles, the hugely popular actor, comedian, author, poet and television presenter, brings his famous Funk & Soul Club to the festival alongside the Scots DJ duo Shaka Loves You and their turntable trickery. Multi-platinum artist Ms. Lauryn Hill rose to prominence as the lone female member of The Fugees, one of the biggest selling R&B acts around the world with album sales of over 20 million. After leaving The Fugees her solo career soared when The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill was released twenty years ago, earning her five GRAMMY Awards and leaving a beautifully indelible mark in music history and one that she is now revisiting on the road.
Applicants need only drop one track into the disco link here with a short bio about their artistry and why they would be suitable to open the stage. DEADLINE FRIDAY 12th JULY!
