Vince Quintero (Notting Hill Music)
Vince Quintero is a multifaceted music executive with more than 22 years of major record label, music publishing and multi-media experience. His roles include music licensing, publishing, music supervision, A&R, strategic marketing/branding, and artist/producer management.
Vince Quintero has worked with platinum-selling artists such as Eminem, Gwen Stefani, Papa Roach, The Roots, MIA, Snoop Dogg, Black Eyed Peas, Blink 182, Mary J Blige, Common, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. He has been responsible for conceptualizing, negotiating and executing against A-list music events with fortune 500 companies such as Jagermeister, Corazon Tequila, Coors Beer, and 42 Below Vodka. Vince has also worked as an A&R executive, a manager of a multi-platinum producer, and developed various bands throughout his career. He has overseen the music recording process with platinum artists, producers, managers, studios, and engineers as well as negotiated and built six-figure recording budgets.
Vince has held positions such as Creative Director for HoriPro Music Publishing (KISS, Marilyn Manson, REO Speedwagon, Jerry Reed, George Strait, etc.), Head of Creative Music Licensing and Music Publishing for Red Bull Records and Senior Creative Director of Sync Licensing for Capitol Music Group (Capitol, Astralwerks, Virgin, Motown, Harvest, Priority, Blue Note and Caroline Records). Currently Vince is running his venture, VQ Creative, handling worldwide sync licensing, publishing and branding.
Jennifer Smith (Rat Dance Party)
Jennifer Smith is a Los Angeles-based music supervisor who has worked in the film / tv / media industry for over a decade. She started her career as part of the music teams for major network shows such as Dancing With The Stars (ABC), The Ellen Degeneres Show (WB), and America’s Best Dance Crew (MTV). Her love of music and the exploding media landscape guided her to join the Kobalt Music synchronization team to creatively pitch and clear music with networks, studios, music supervisors, production companies, and new media companies. Her time at Kobalt gave her extensive and broad experience in the synchronization world, dealing with all stakeholders in the creative and business process including record labels, songwriters, producers, musicians, managers, and marketing teams. After seven years at Kobalt, Jennifer went back to her first love of content and storytelling and joined the music team on ABC’s reboot of American Idol. After that show’s first season, she was inspired in 2018 to launch her own music supervision company, “Rat Dance Party.” Rat Dance Party specializes in Film, TV (scripted and non-scripted), and new media (especially podcasts). With Rat Dance Party Jennifer has worked on projects produced by Showtime, Netflix, Viacom, Shorts TV, Amazon, Pluto TV, NBC, Voltage Pictures, Indican Productions, and many more. Currently she has worked on the new season of “Why Women Kill” (Paramount+), the documentary “Proud In A Pandemic,” the new season of “Behind The Music”, and has upcoming projects. Recently elected to the Board of the Guild of Music Supervisors (GMS), Jennifer is also a member of the Television Academy, Women In Film, Women In Media, and the Recording Academy.
Mark Gordon (Score Draw Music)
Mark Gordon is a multi award-winning composer who runs the music production company Score Draw Music. With studios located in both the UK and Ireland, Score Draw provides original music and songs to a huge range of global clients and current work spans content for Channel 5/Milkshake , Nickelodeon Jr, PBS Kids, BBC and Sky. Mark’s composition work in Score Draw Music has included co-writing music for Dolly Parton to sing in a children’s animation series, a co-write in the 2018 Oscar-winning film The Shape of Water, and ongoing work across film, television and animation - as well as running the company on a day to day basis. Outside of the company, Mark is a member of the Ivors Academy Media Committee Board, sits on the Future Screens NI Board and also programmes Output Belfast - Ireland’s largest music conference.
Janine Scalise (Moxie Music Supervision)
In 2019 Janine Scalise launched Moxie Music Supervision as a one-stop shop for all elements of music supervision, music licensing, procuring original songs from artists, and related consulting; offering all of her expertise in both the art and business of joining music with visual entertainment mediums. She recently completed work on the TV series “L Word: Generation Q”- Season 2 for Showtime and is currently working on the TV series “Better Things,” Season 5 for FX (with Nora Felder) and “Untitled Animation Series” for Amazon and Sony Studios.
She gained in-depth experience with top talent (composers, artists, directors, actors and producers) while successfully sourcing potential music concepts for production. This included commissioning original songs from the likes of 50 Cent (“Power”), Nick Cave (“Black Sails”) and Karen O (“Flesh & Bone”). Janine has worked with lauded composers including Bear McCreary, Daniele Luppi, Dave Porter, Kris Bowers, and Ludwig Gorannson.
Jessica Powell (AudioShake)
Jessica Powell is the CEO and co-founder of Audioshake, which uses AI to deconstruct songs into instrumentals and stems so that labels, publishers, and artists can open up their songs for new opportunities. Powell spent over a decade at Google, where she sat on the company's management team. Prior to that, she was at CISAC, the International Society of Authors and Composers in Paris. She is also the author of the novel, The Big Disruption: A Totally Fictional but Essentially True Silicon Valley Story, and is a frequent contributor to the New York Times, TIME, and elsewhere.
