K4CIE is a DJ & producer that has been shaping the Glasgow music scene with 'Peach'; a rap & trap event platform in Scotland. K4CIE's selections quickly grabbed slots at well-known events, festivals and radio stations around the UK. K4CIE is also the official DJ for artist Chlobocop.

Recently K4CIE launched her own music studio in Glasgow; 644 Studios with the rst single of 2021 'BabySky Hook' landing track of the week on BBC Radio 1Xtra along with plays on BBC Radio 1, Kiss & Capital Xtra.

When did you set up Studio 664 and what advice would you give to other producers looking to open their own studio?

Me and Lude have been working on getting our own studio space for the last few years and we opened 644 right as the pandemic hit (great timing). We started off with an office that looks like something from ‘Better Call Saul’ and just built it up over months to what it is now - Studio A. Since then we’ve built up 3 studio rooms with all different uses and advantages.
My advice would be: be patient it takes time even today we are still building and MAKE SURE your room is sound treated. Not just foam panel’s but proper acoustically treated.

You have co-founded a platform for Scottish rap & trap music. What inspired you to start ‘PEACH’ and what do you plan to achieve with it?

We started Peach because there was no good rap nights in Glasgow, especially that had woman attending. We would often find ourselves being one of the few girls at these events. So Peach priorities woman in the crowd and on the line ups, something most club nights still lack today.
We aim to continue to grow and book amazing dj’s / artists from around the globe, show them that glasgow has a crowd and atmosphere that is unmatched. You’ll also be seeing Peach in Manchester and London soon too 🤫

You have built a great reputation and name for yourself as a radio host & DJ. With yourself being the producer on your new track is this something you are looking to focus on more?

Yeah I’m looking to drop a lot more music as the artist producer. It’s something I’ve always done but only now feel confident with releasing. I’ve been working on music with a lot of different artists around the UK and over seas, excited to show everyone what we’ve been doing!

How do you spend your free time when you are not making music ?

I love food! We do a lot of eating and hanging out with friends. of course spending time with my little fur baby Nelly, She’s a French bulldog. To be quite honest there isn’t a lot of free time these days so whenever I do get a day off I’m mostly too tired to leave the house.

More music, more sets, more Peach, more love!

Finally, who’s one emerging artist that you think is turning heads and is on track to go stratospheric in 2022?

Chlobocop always always always.
