Back at it again with the latest Resonate pick for Artist of the Week who this week comes in the form of MOY. The Glasgow based Zealander treated audiences with his latest exploration into the dark dreamy pop world and release of ‘No Talk’s The Best Chat’.

MOY’s impressive catalogue includes early 2020 release ‘Techno Party’ which garnered support from BBC Introducing Scotland maestro Vic Galloway amongst others. A similar fate has been written for ‘No Talk’s The Best Chat’ which has been simmering across radio airwaves courtesy of Vic already. Its’ catchy yet leisurely bop along character is something to behold - MOY masterfully evokes his smooth refreshing vocal tone against gritty distorted guitar riffs - reminiscent of the good ole Weezer days. Chuck in some wailing synthesisers which give a dazzling depth to this track, we expect this to be played loud & proud across speakers in Glasgow & beyond. ‘No Talk’s The Best Talk’ has the attributes of a timely classic - with the powerful (yet sometimes forgotten) qualities of a fantastically written song.
