Introducing: Stina Tweeddale (Honeyblood)

Honeyblood is the solo project of Edinburgh born Stina Tweeddale. Heavily championed by press and radio alike, having long-time fans in 6Music, Radio 1, Radio X as well as The Guardian, Mojo, Q and DIY. The second record 'Babes Never Die' (FatCat Records) released in 2016 received a landslide of accolades, including being shortlisted for Scottish Album Of The Year and gained favourable reviews across the board. The band have shared stages with the likes of Foo Fighters, Garbage, Belle and Sebastian, Courtney Barnett and Wolf Alice as well as having completed sold-out headline tours in the US, the UK, Europe, Australia and Asia. The highly anticipated third album 'In Plain Sight', recorded in Los Angeles by the legendary John Congleton was released in May on Marathon Artists solidifying Honeyblood’s place in the Scottish music scene and beyond.

Honeyblood recently received PRS Foundation Momentum funding which will go towards a future EP. Congrats Stina!


Stina will be taking part in a panel discussion alongside Robert Kilpatrick (Scottish Music Industry Association) and Rupert Vereker (DIY) about the album. The will discuss the concept, importance and relevance of the album. In this open discussion, delegates are welcomed to express their own experiences as artists, music consumers or anything in between. Why is it important that albums continue to be an integral part of our musical ecosystem? How has the streaming revolution affected album consumption?
