RESONATE ARTIST OF THE WEEK : Luke La Volpe
And here we land again, another Monday, another Resonate artist of the week. This week’s awardee is t Bathgate-based Alt rock outfit Luke La Volpe. With an impending release due to hit the shelves on Friday 29th March, we’ve had a secret listen and can reveal… it’s a belter.
Forming in 2017, Luke La Volpes band had separate music careers but started playing together for fun and quickly realised the potential they had, bringing together a mixture of blues and rock and roll to form a unique live sound, which has been generating interest across the industry.
The band has enjoyed performing to packed venues across the country, supporting the likes of Alabama 3, Gerry Cinnamon, Tom Clarke (The Enemy) and some Scottish guy called Lewis Capaldi.
‘Can’t Seem To Get Enough’ is an impeccably practiced and assured alternative blues number led with the relentlessly meaty male vocal.
Where can I see this amazing band I hear you ask? Well let me just settle that for you. You can catch Luke La Volpe performing as part of the BBC Introducing session at King Tuts alongside Brownbear, Deni Smith & Billy Mitchell. THEN, Luke La Volpe will be celebrating the release of the single ‘Can’t Seem To Get Enough’ with a hometown show at Bathgate’s Regal Theatre.
