RESONATE ARTIST OF THE WEEK: Jay Gunning
Jay Gunning is an up and coming DJ/Producer from Glasgow. Jay started mixing vinyl from the young age of 13 and quickly honed his craft with a selection of everything from Soul, House, Disco to Techno. After receiving an opportunity to perform at Scottish Soul Weekender, Jay met and started working with legend CeCe Roger and flew to New York to record and produce on project, ‘Moodlife’.
Jay has become well known in the Glasgow dance scene not only for his ecelctic DJ sets, but also for his fornightly event ‘Attic Room Session’ which has featured the likes of Illyus & Barrientos, Jasper James, Archie Hamilton and Mall Grab. He also host his own monthly radio show on Groove City Radio where he spins his favourite tracks and invites special guests and residents from his very own Attic Room Sessions. Groove City Radio are also pleased to announce they have been granted their FM license. Keep your eye on Jay Gunning for 2020.
