Mike Nicholson - Dumfries Music Conference
We’re proud to have Resonate pal and working neighbour Mike Nicholson on board for 2018’s Resonate.
Michael Nicholson is a former magazine editor, now working independently as a PR consultant and freelance journalist. He co-founded Dumfries Music Conference (DMC) with Colin Tennant in 2012. Their objective was to galvanise the vibrant music scene in Dumfries and Galloway and to give the region a voice on a national level.
In 2016, DMC was established as a community interest company and attracted funding to support a part-time Operations Manager position, as well as an annual programme of events. Over the last six years, DMC has formed friendships and partnerships with key organisations across Scotland.
